This Privacy Policy explains how Idle Archmage: Wizard RPG ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is an offline-first idle game and does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number to play.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you for personally identifiable information. The App and the third-party services it uses may, however, process the following:

• Game progress & settings — your save data (level, resources, progress, options) is stored locally on your device.
• Optional cloud backup — if you use the in-app backup feature, your save data is uploaded to our cloud database (Google Firebase) and associated with a randomly generated recovery code. This code is not linked to your identity.
• Optional leaderboard — if you submit a score, the display name you choose and your game statistics are stored to show online rankings. You may use any name you like.
• Anonymous identifier — to enable cloud backup and leaderboards we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which assigns a random anonymous ID. It does not reveal your identity.
• Advertising data — to display ads we use Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA/IDFA equivalents), approximate location, and usage/diagnostic data.
• Diagnostics — anonymized crash and performance data may be collected to keep the App stable.

2. Advertising & Tracking (Apple ATT)

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. On iOS, before any tracking for personalized advertising occurs, the App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking for your permission.

• If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your advertising identifier to show personalized ads.
• If you do not allow tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. The game remains fully playable either way.

You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.

3. How We Use Information

• To save, restore, and synchronize your game progress.
• To display optional online leaderboards.
• To display advertisements and support the App.
• To diagnose crashes and improve performance and stability.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Local save data remains on your device until you delete the App. Cloud backup and leaderboard data remain on our servers until removed. Because the data is not tied to your personal identity, you can request deletion of your cloud-stored data by contacting us with your recovery code or leaderboard display name (see Section 8).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
